PNNL Solution:

Developed & demonstrated effective methods to use satellite imagery and aerial photography to:

  • Assess impact of field exercises on landcover & wildlife
  • Map impact of brush fires
  • Identify critical restoration areas
  • Identify sensitive wildlife habitats

Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: satellite and aerial remote sensing; Geographic information system (GIS) Technology; landcoverand landuse analysis characterization; environmental modeling; GPS data collection & processing.
