  • Used knowledge of chemical analyte interaction with thin-film materials to select suitable selective coatings
  • Synthesized desired polymers
  • Prepared and evaluated thin-film functionality on prototype sensors
  • Optimized polymer films as needed
  • Coated and delivered application sensors
  • Capability resulted in R&D 100 Award

Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Polymer synthesis; modeling vapor polymer interactions; thin-film application methods; thin-film characterization; multiple sensor test platforms; automated vapor generation methods; sensor array development; performance testing.
